BREEAM (International)

BREEAM is an environmental certification system from the United Kingdom that has been in existence since 1990. It is the most widely used system for building environmental certification in Europe and has been applied in over 500,000 buildings worldwide.

The system also exists in a Swedish version, adapted to Swedish conditions and standards - BREEAM-SE is used to certify newly constructed buildings, and the building's environmental performance is assessed in various areas. With a certification in BREEAM-SE, a property can be compared on an international market, and both international and Swedish investors believe this adds significant value.

Since 2013, the Sweden Green Building Council has managed the Swedish version.

BREEAM-INTERNATIONAL:

  • Pass: <30 poäng
  • Good: 30-44 poäng
  • Very Good: 45-54 poäng
  • Excellent: 55-69 poäng
  • Outstanding: ≥70 poäng

Important features of our products are water efficiency and conscious material selection. There are no BREEAM-certified faucets, but our BREEAM-adapted products can positively contribute to the calculation of the building's total water consumption.

Characteristics contributing to the building's assessment and indicators related to faucets/showers:

Wat 01 "Water Efficiency" Washbasin faucets, kitchen faucets, and shower faucets can contribute points in the calculation of the building's total water consumption/savings compared to reference water consumption.

Mat 07 "Hazardous Substances" Products assessed, for example, according to the Building Product Assessment and SundaHus, can be linked to the building's logbook and may contribute points to the building's overall assessment depending on material content.

"The external demands are challenging and change from day to day, but we stay updated to constantly adapt our products."
