Maintenance and cleaning advice
Make a habit of frequently wiping your mixer clean to preserve its surface shine. We recommend using a microfibre cloth. If necessary, wet the cloth with water. Alternatively, use a mild soap solution, rinse immediately and then wipe the surface dry.
We do not recommend using abrasive sponges, acid detergents, descalers or spirit vinegar to clean your mixer. Because the content of these products is constantly changing, they risk damaging the surface of your mixer. Instead, regularly clean chrome-plated and anodised surfaces with pH-neutral (6–9 pH) liquid detergent or soap solution. Our guarantee does not cover any damage to the mixer’s surface that is caused by incorrect cleaning.
If limescale builds up on the product, clean with ordinary household vinegar (not spirit vinegar) and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Watch our instruction videos for more tips and information.
If there is risk of freeze damage
If the mixer will be subjected to external temperatures below 0°C, e.g. in an unheated summer house, disconnect the mixer and store it in a heated place. There is also a risk of freeze damage if you transport or store a mixer containing water at temperatures below 0°C
Limescale on showers
If you have hard water in your home, the shower rose on hand showers and overhead showers should be regularly cleaned for an optimal shower experience. Our shower heads have rubber jets that make it easy to remove limescale by rubbing the shower rose with your fingers under the running shower.
Other surfaces
We recommend using a microfibre cloth to clean products with coated surfaces. If necessary, wet the cloth with water. Alternatively, use a mild soap solution, rinse immediately and then wipe the surface dry. Do not use abrasive sponges or acid cleaners. Incorrect cleaning will void the product guarantee.
