Miljöbyggnad

Miljöbyggnad is Sweden's most widely used environmental certification system for buildings and can be applied to most building types and operations. A building is assessed in the areas of energy, indoor environment, and materials, and environmental properties determine whether it receives a rating of Bronze, Silver, or Gold. To achieve Gold, the building should have the best possible function with available technology.

Characteristics contributing to the building's assessment and indicators related to faucets and showers:

• Indicator 3 "Energy Consumption": Washbasin faucets, kitchen faucets, and shower faucets with good energy efficiency can indirectly contribute positively to the total energy calculation for the building.

• Indicator 13/15 "Logbook with Building Products": Products assessed according to the Building Product Assessment and SundaHus can be linked to the new construction logbook and contribute to the building's overall rating.

• "Fulfillment of EU Taxonomy": Products with the correct flow rates can contribute to the building's overall rating (Version 4.0).
