Green Building

GreenBuilding is aimed at property owners and managers who want to optimize energy usage in their premises and residences. The requirement is that the building uses 25% less energy than before or compared to the new construction requirements in BBR.

The environmental certification system comes in two versions, one for the building type "New Construction" and one for "Existing Building".

Features contributing to the building's assessment - indicators related to faucets and showers:

"Energy Usage - Tap Water" - Energy-efficient washbasins, kitchen, and shower faucets with Energy Class A can indirectly contribute positively to the overall energy calculation for the building.

GreenBuilding will be phased out due to investments in other certification systems. A two-year phase-out period has now begun, which means no new registrations will be made in the system.

For existing projects, the last reporting period will be between January-April 2024. These reports will extend until April 30, 2025, after which GreenBuilding will be completely phased out.
